Treystman Law respects your privacy. This policy explains how the firm collects, uses, protects, and discloses information obtained through this website, email, telephone, and optional one-to-one text communications.
Information we may collect
We may collect information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, the contents of your communication, and information relevant to evaluating or providing legal services. When you use the scheduling-text consent form, we also retain consent evidence such as the submission time, mobile number, consent-language version, IP address, and browser user-agent information. Our hosting and security providers may automatically receive technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, and access times.
How information is used
We may use information to respond to inquiries; conduct conflict checks and preliminary intake; schedule consultations; communicate about services or an existing matter; operate, secure, and improve the website; maintain business records; and comply with legal, ethical, and regulatory obligations.
Scheduling texts and mobile information
You may give permission by entering your mobile number, checking the unselected consent box, and submitting the form on the home page. Treystman Law may then text you individually about scheduling a consultation or appointment and related logistics. This permission does not enroll you in an advertising, promotional, automated recurring, or mass-marketing campaign. Texts will be sent only as reasonably needed for scheduling. Message and data rates may apply.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all other data-sharing categories and will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties. They will be used only for the scheduling communications you requested, by service providers that help deliver those communications and are expected to protect the information, or as required by law.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of obtaining legal services. You may withdraw permission at any time by telling Treystman Law, including by replying STOP, emailing contact@treystmanlaw.com, or calling (310) 907-9487.
When information may be disclosed
We may disclose information to service providers that assist with hosting, security, communications, records, or professional services and that are expected to protect it; when reasonably necessary to comply with law, court process, or professional obligations; to protect rights, safety, or security; or with your direction or consent. Treystman Law does not sell personal information.
Confidentiality and attorney-client relationship
Submitting information through this website, by email, telephone, or text does not create an attorney-client relationship and does not necessarily make the information confidential or privileged. Do not send confidential, sensitive, or time-critical information until Treystman Law has confirmed an attorney-client relationship in a written engagement agreement.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above and to satisfy legal, ethical, accounting, security, or consent-recordkeeping requirements. Scheduling-text consent records are maintained in access-restricted storage on the website host. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and California privacy requests
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information maintained by the firm, subject to applicable legal and professional obligations. California law may provide additional rights depending on the circumstances. To make a request, contact us using the information below. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Children and third-party websites
This website is not directed to children under 13, and the firm does not knowingly collect their personal information through the site. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Policy changes
